We’ve had a great 9 days chilling out in the Byron Bay Area. We’ve checked out nearby towns, walked many beaches and done a few hikes. Now it’s time to start to head south again. Only 39 days till we head overseas for four and half months. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 🇪🇸 🇯🇵

Today we revisited one of our favourite places on the east coast.
Cape Byron.
The lighthouse is pretty cool but the views are amazing.
It’s also the most easterly point of the Australian mainland.
We spent ages watching whales pass on their way north. And were lucky enough to see a large pod of dolphins, 20+, go by right in front of us.
We finished the day with a walk on Suffolk beach.

Finally the rain has gone.
We got out and about today exploring.
The forest sky pier lookout is pretty cool with some great walks around and through the rainforests.
We even managed to collect 20 little, black wriggly, blood-suckers trying to hitchhike home on our feet. 😂

We’re spending the week at Corindi Beach. About half an hour north of Coffs Harbour NSW. A beautiful, small little suburb. Kangaroos and bush turkeys are our only neighbours.

We’ve had a pretty wet week at Diamond Beach, NSW. Heading further north tomorrow hopefully to some better wether.
8 week count down till we leave for four and half months overseas.
