FAQs
If I use a credit or debit card, will I still get charged 50 cents?
Yes. The 50-cent fare applies to card and cash payments.
How does this payment option work?
You need to tap on at the start of a trip and tap off at the end of a trip using the same Visa or Mastercard card or smart device.
What happens if my card is declined?
The driver will advise you to try another valid payment method or pay with cash.
Why did I get charged more than 50 cents for my trip?
If you don’t tap on and tap off with the same card or device when travelling on our buses you will be charged a $2.50 default fare. To make sure you pay the correct 50 cent fare tap on with your card when boarding and tap off when exiting for every trip, including when transferring to another service. If you have been charged a default fare you can request an adjustment within 120 days of your trip by contacting [email protected] or phone 54804500.
What if I am travelling as part of a group?
