Heyfield Bus Service Heyfield Bus Service provides school bus services to Heyfield, Sale, Maffra, Nambrok-Denison, Traralgon, Bairnsdale.

We also have dedicated coaches for both private and organisations for charter.and local charters.

Heyfield Bus Service is seeking 2 drivers to join the team. A driver for its school service from Heyfield to service the surrounding schools and a relief driver for its Special School service starting in Stratford servicing Sale (2 months initially). The runs operate both morning and afternoon.
To be successful you will require a current Medium Rigid license (minimum), Drivers Accreditation as well as an employee working with children's check.
Currently paying $44.64 plus super per hour. The service operates schooldays for 40 weeks per year.

All buses are running normally, but maybe a bit slower depending on local road conditions.
Please note that the Yallourn Nth and Churchill/Yinnar buses for the Latrobe Specialiast School have modified runs due to local road conditions/closures. Contact the school for further information.

Update at 5pm Thursday 10th June.

Due to the ongoing localised flooding and fallen trees and power blackouts, Heyfield Bus School Services in Heyfield, Sale, Traralgon and Woodside will NOT be running tomorrow Friday 11th June. Bairnsdale special school services will run as normal. We thank you for your understanding.

Due to localised flooding and fallen trees Heyfield Bus school services to Latrobe and Sale District Specialist Schools; Maffra Secondary, Nambrock-Denison, Heyfield and Woodside Primary Schools and Sale College are not running. Will update as further information comes to hand.

During the current 5 day lockdown our large school buses will continue to operate. However, special school services may be affected. Please contact your child's school if in doubt.

Hi everyone, Latest easing of restrictions in regards to charters etc.
Tourism (tours and transport) as of midnight 27th October.
•
Outdoor spaces: tour vehicles that supports the primary outdoor offering of the tourism facility, for trips of up to 30 minutes
•
Smaller vehicles: private gathering limit of household plus 2 people and their dependents
•
Larger vehicles: up to 10 people, infants under 12 months not included in cap.

Hi everyone, our school services are running although some routes may be modified, however please remember that parents/carers MUST let the relevant school know if their child is going to attend school- do not contact Heyfield Bus Service! Buses are being cleaned after each run and the driving staff will wear mask whilst students are onboard. Please stay safe !

Update: 20th May 2020
All school buses will run per the normal timetable starting the 26th May 2020. We ask students, where possible, to keep the seats directly behind the driver empty. Parents/carers, if your child is ill then they should not travel on the bus, the school must be informed. Buses will be cleaned after the morning and afternoon runs. Students should follow personal hygiene /sanitizing guidelines before getting on the bus.

All school buses will run tomorrow Wednesday 15th April. However, please note that due to social isolation rules:
1. The seats directly behind the driver MUST be kept clear.
2. Students are to sit by themselves and not next to each other UNLESS they are from the same household.
3. Students are to comply with seating instructions by drivers.
4. The buses will be cleaned with sanitiser etc between services.

Please note that buses may run empty due to students remaining home. If parents have any concerns, please contact the school directly.

In line with the latest Vic Government announcements, Heyfield Bus Service will cease school bus services for Term 1 effective from after the afternoon run this afternoon Monday 23/3. In regards to special schools which we service in Traralgon, Bairnsdale and Sale our services are running at this stage. We will keep travelers updated in regards to start of service for Term 2. Stay safe and healthy everyone!!

Coronavirus Update.
Please note that all our school buses are still running as per the normal timetables. Buses are being supplied with both disinfectant and a spray sanitizer solution for all surfaces. To assist us in keeping the risk of contamination low , we ask all passengers to comply with the latest Health Department guidelines.
