Yesterday was 12months since Dad left us.

The day was filled with new tears, red roses and the occasional liquor 43 and white chocolate liqueur.

Somehow 12 months feels like 1 week and 10 years all in 1.

We are proud to call Australia home.
We are grateful for all the men and women who gave their today, to give us our tomorrow.

For those of us who are not on the front line fighting to keep this country safe: don't question them, for they have seen more than any of us could have imagined.
