FLIGHT SCHOOL
The GAS Flight School caters for everyone from beginners to Commercial Pilots. All our instructors are Commercial Charter Pilots who teach fr

om experience in the following aircraft at the following locations. CHARTER
We operate to anywhere in Australia from our base at Kalgoorlie-Boulder Airport, with the majority of flights being to remote outback locations not serviced by other forms of regular transport. Our Commercial pilots are on standby 24 hours a day to respond to your air transport requirements. Our maintenance engineers work to ensure the aircraft you charter are serviceable and ready to take-off when you need to. Operations staff are on call 24 hours a day to respond promptly to your aircraft charter enquiries and provide you with an obligation-free quote.

What an honour it was to meet this incredible young woman 🩷
Rose Donald is on the home stretch for her solo trip around Australia. After starting in Victoria, going North to NSW, QLD and NT, shes finishing the trip with WA, SA and Tasmanian before heading back home!
It has been inspiring to watch her complete this journey as she raises money for , an aeromedical service for children in the eastern states. A few of her supporters, and , have truly shown what it means to strengthen and encourage women in aviation.

This week we had to say goodbye to our beautiful hanger cat, ASIC 🐾

Everyone who spent time here at GAS seems to have their own ASIC story. Whether it was a quick pat that turned into a long break, a moment of comfort on a hard day, or just getting meowed at loudly. She had a way of making this place feel warmer, calmer, and more human.

It’s hard to imagine the workplace without her.

Thank you to everyone who showed ASIC kindness, shared moments with her, and made her very long life so full of care and connection. She will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.

Last month Goldfields Air Services proudly completed Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) training with Angela Garvey from Navigating Aviation 🧭 The 2 day course discussed many mental health topics including anxiety, stress, and su***de prevention.

This training goes beyond awareness. It builds real capability, including how to recognise warning signs, step in early, and confidently ask the hard but necessary questions when someone may be struggling.

MHFA training isn’t an add-on, it’s part of doing aviation properly. Thank you Angela for your efforts 👏
