Our newest little travel buddy was born in September, and set off on his first big caravanning trip at 6 months old, say hello to Regan! ππΌ
While he settled into like heβd been there before, it definitely helped taking a handful of things that made caravanning with a baby more seamless ..
1. Bunk Net - Not only was Sharon a dream to deal with, she also delivered it to us so we had plenty of time to install it before we left! It fitted perfectly, was easy and quiet to zip, and kept good air flow to keep Regan as cool as possible while offgrid in the heat! Perth owned, highly recommend!
2. A Jolly Jumper - We have never had one of these for our babies before, but I just knew itβd be handy to have somewhere to pop him while we packed up or ate dinner nearby, and needed to entertain him while keeping him safe! We hung it off awning on the car and he jolly jumped his little heart out!
3. Padded Play Mat - somewhere to play inside on our bed or the table bed (perfect fit!), or outside to cushion the gravel camp sites, and was easy to wipe clean! So glad we took this, it took up space but we rolled it up and stored it in the bunk or on the fridge (pop top!).
4. A Bath Tub - a literal tub for a bath! If your shower recess isnβt deep enough for a bath, a good sized flexi tub is a must. Itβs easier to use outside too rather than trying to hold a baby in the bottom of the shower. It also acted as a little pool to keep him cool or entertained, and stored all our beach/snorkel gear!
