ComfortDelGro Corporation Australia (CDC) sadly lost two well-loved members of our team, Aaron Pitt and Lleyton Bartlett of CDC Queensland, on 21 April 2022.

Each year, to honour and remember their lives, our drivers and others in the industry participate in ”Lights On”’ days, in remembrance of these colleagues who were dear friends to many at CDC.

This year, we are holding another “Lights On” for Aaron and Lleyton. We will hold two “Lights On” days to accommodate businesses who do not operate on a Sunday so as many of our drivers as possible can participate.

CDC’s drivers are leaving their headlights on from the start to the finish of operations on Sunday, 21 April and Monday, 22 April 2024 as a gesture of respect.

We welcome all bus drivers to join in and shine your lights to honour and remember Aaron and Lleyton.

Schools are back tomorrow and so are school zone speed limits. Look out for children crossing roads, riding bikes, alighting from buses or cars. Slowing down won’t make much difference in your trip time, but could save a child’s life.
