Job Opportunity - Ground Crew

We are currently seeking additional staff for our Aerial Ag business based in Kerang, Northern Victoria
Duties will include loading aircraft from our farm base and our satellite airstrips covering Northern Victoria and South West NSW
An MC or HC license is an advantage but not essential but at minimum current drivers license will be.
Agricultural experience and a sound mechanical knowledge or background is also an advantage, but full training will be provided.
Excellent pay with possibility of Full Time employment for the right person.

Mice are becoming a big problem, especially as winter sowing is under way. With our meterate gate we can be very precise with all applications and rates.
With NSW announcing funding today to assist with the cost of bait, be sure to get in early to book the plane.

Thanks to Swan Hill Chemicals for the fantastic video of our 802 at work in Moulamein. No rice has been grown in our area for several years now because of so we're very happy to be helping our clients with rice sowing again this year!

So after three years of drought and nearly as much stress, today we sowed our first two crops of rice. I did wonder more than once if we would ever see rice in our area again and finally that day has come.
And so it should, we grow the best rice in the world 👍🙂

✈️✈️CANOLA CROPPING FROM THE AIR✈️✈️

Could it be an Australian first.... a canola crop sowed, fertilised and sprayed entirely from the air?

This crop is on a farm between Tungamah and Dookie, Victoria on rising country that's prone to water-logging and couldn't carry a tractor at sowing time.

So aerial operations were completed by Jim Robins of Robins Aviation.

“I’ve sown lots of things, oats, wheat, barley with the plane and had good success but I hadn’t done canola," he said.

"And this is the first time I’ve done all the steps along the way and it’s been really pleasing to see.

“It’s been fascinating and really pleasing to watch it, having done everything with the aeroplane."
