🚨 ATTENTION SOUTH BURNETT RESIDENTS: Protect Our Rural Land! 🚨
Please sign and share this petition to stop South East QLD’s sewage sludge from being dumped and processed in our region.
BYV Organics has lodged an application (MCU26/0004) to build a massive, high-impact industrial bio-solids plant in Glan Devon, just 12km north of Nanango.
This industrial facility does not belong on our beautiful agricultural and rural residential land. If approved by the South Burnett Regional Council, our community could face serious short and long-term risks, including:
🛑 Severe environmental odours and reduced air quality.
🛑 A major increase in heavy truck traffic on local roads and highways.
🛑 Threats to local wildlife, livestock, your dams, your water tanks, your clothes, your children's health, your health
🛑 Contamination of our soil and waterways.
🛑 Plunging property values for surrounding families and farms.
We need to send a clear, united message to the Council: Wrong Industry, Wrong Zone!
