Just a notification to let people know that we were unable to source a driver for tonight as we are short staffed with two drivers out of the country and another one unable to drive due to a broken hand. Day shift will finish at 7pm this evening.

We are very sorry for the inconvenience. A driver WILL be available for Saturday night.

Kingaroy Taxis is looking for new drivers.

Drivers must be in possession of a taxi driver authority, which is approved by the Dept of Transport and Main Roads.

To apply as a taxi driver you must be at least 25 years old, have a decent driving record, and pass a commercial medical. As part of your application process with TMR, they conduct a criminal history check and a working with children check. This is necessary as you would be working with vulnerable members of the community.

If you have family commitments or commitments with another job, we can work with you on your availability. This can be a great role for the semi-retired also, it can help keep you active.

Driver Authorisation Application form and Private and Commercial Vehicle Driver's Health Assessment forms can be obtained from your local TMR office or I can email them to you.
