We'd like to invite the Kuranda community to join the conversation and share everything they know about HOW to get to Kuranda, WHERE they can stay in and around Kuranda (B&B's, Airbnbs, overnight/short term room rentals and other accommodation options) and WHAT to do when they get to Kuranda - on a budget.
We know that the more people who come and visit us here in Kuranda and choose to stay with us here in Kuranda for one or more nights, the better it will be for our whole community.

Kuranda Festival is happening again this year with an exciting schedule of events over 2 Days - 19th & 20th October!
Saturday 19th Oct will ROCK the village with the Bash of the Barron River Raft Race, HUGE motorbike show, art & craft stalls, free river boat cruise, Enviro-care Tree Planting and plenty of entertainment in Centenary Park.
Sunday is the massive Free Family Day with a Hot FM Outside Broadcast, face painters, buskers, Big Band entertainment, animal zoo, magic shows, German Sausage Eating Competition, poets breakfast, Great Kuranda Undie Fun Run, and lots more!!

Well folks....after quite a long delay (waiting for the finances) the new brochure will be finally printed and off to be distributed through 100 outlets in Cairns THIS COMING WEEK! You don't need to spend a lot of money to experience Kuranda 'The Village in the Rainforest'!
