The Contextualising Australian Muslims Summit 2012 will provide the platform for discussions to occur about issues that affect the Australian Muslim community and begin conversations about viable and realistic solutions to these concerns. The theme:: Yesterday’s Actions, Today’s Concerns, Tomorrow’s Perspective::: will be woven through all plenary presentations with the intention to engage and emp

ower the future generation of this community to be able to make strategic decisions about the future of our community in Australia. The Summit will play host to some of Australia's most distinguished Muslim and non-Muslim intellectuals discussing the future of our community in Australia and providing a roadmap for us to be able to move forward successfully. The Summit will focus on media, politics, capacity-building, community relations, entrepreneurship and celebrating our achievements as Australian Muslims. This is an initiative of the LMA Youth Leadership Program.

To those who have paid, those who are paying today (i.e right now!) and those who will pay at the door - please be at the LMA Function hall tomorrow morning at between 8:30-8:45 to collect your conference packs and to sign in. We have to start at 9am to get through one busy day.
