We recently pulled out all the stops at Nick’s Thai Restaurant to celebrate Empower Support’s 3rd Birthday! Huge love and thanks to all our past and present team members, partners, and contributors who have helped us get to where we are today. The night was packed with incredible food, non-stop laughs, and pure good vibes. Here’s to many more chapters together! 🥂✨

We're building something new: the East Gippsland Disability Network

It's a dedicated space for people with disability, carers, family, friends and organisations to share their experiences and help shape Council decisions and projects.

This new network builds on the work of our former Disability Advisory Committee as we know that people with disability and access needs can face barriers across our shire and this is our commitment to reducing those barriers and making it easier for everyone in our communities to participate.

Expression of interest are open now and if you need support to apply, or want information in an accessible format, we're here to help.

Tom is a respected member of the Lakes Entrance community and the former owner of the Lakes Entrance Grain Store. As a valued addition to the Empower support team, he brings a bright personality and a caring, compassionate approach to his role as a support worker. In addition to providing exceptional support, Tom also handles NDIS property maintenance tasks, including the construction of ramps and the installation of handrails and other necessary property enhancements. His dedication and skill make him an indispensable asset to the team.

Looking after a legend today! This Bloke has built community centres, mothers health clinics, portable churches in the most poverty stricken places around the globe that most people have never seen nor would want to go!!!!!
