Thanks to Sarina State High School for having us along for their Careers Day. It was great to spend some time with the students, have a few good conversations and hopefully give the next generation of up and comers some insight into the opportunities available within our industry.
A special thanks to Tayla from Careers in Gear by She Is Real for making herself available at short notice and joining us on the day. The work and commitment you are putting into the next generation is great to see, not only highlighting opportunities within the transport industry but also opening students eyes to the many different trades and career paths available.
As Tayla puts it perfectly,
“Sometimes students don’t need a perfect career plan they just need to know what’s available.”
To cap off a great day, we have also got several students coming through to complete work experience in our workshop, giving them the opportunity to get some hands on exposure and see what working in the industry is about.
