🐂🤠 MACKAY PBR – WHERE THE BULLS WERE WILD AND THE MUD WAS DEEP! 🌧️😂

What a bloody ripper of a PBR event in Mackay! We were proud as punch to supply the sand for the action, but crikey… Mother Nature decided to chuck in a few thousand litres of her own! 💦🤣

We came to lay the sand, but by the end of it, we reckon we were halfway to starting a bloody mud-wrestling competition! 😂🚜

A massive THANK YOU to all the riders for putting on one hell of a show and hanging tough when the weather turned pear-shaped. You absolute legends earned every bit of that applause!

And a big tip of the Akubra to the event organisers and crew for all the hard yakka that goes into making an event like this happen. Even with the heavens opening up and the arena getting a proper soaking, you all helped make it a bloody good time! 👏

Fair dinkum, we supplied the sand, the bulls brought the buck, and the weather brought enough water to fill the back paddock dam! 🐂🌧️

A top event, a heap of action, and enough mud to keep the work boots soaking till Christmas! 😂

Thanks to everyone involved we’d do it all again in a heartbeat… although next time, we might have a quiet word with the bloke controlling the weather! 🤣🤠

🪨 LOOKING FOR ROCKS WITH A BIT OF PERSONALITY? 😂

Forget diamonds 💎… River Stones are a bloke’s best friend. 🇦🇺

Whether you’re sorting out the garden, fixing up some drainage or just want your yard looking schmick, we’ve got a range of rock in a range of sizes:

🪨 14–25mm
🪨 30–50mm
🪨 50–80mm
🪨 80–150mm
🪨 10mm Aggregate

And if you like your rocks a little less river and a little more “bloody massive”, we’ve got oversized rock too. 💪

Great for landscaping, drainage and giving the backyard that “yeah, I definitely know what I’m doing” look.

Because nothing says I’ve got my life together quite like a freshly landscaped yard. 😎

Come grab a load before the missus decides you need to renovate the whole backyard. 😂

King’s Birthday Public Holiday
G’day legends!

Just a quick heads-up that we’ll be taking the day off on Monday, 5th October for the King’s Birthday public holiday.

No trucks, no loads, no sand flying and, most importantly, no one asking where their gravel is at 5.30am! 😂

We’ll be back on deck and ready to get the dirt moving again at our normal time of 5.30am Tuesday, 6th October.

Enjoy the long weekend, stay safe, and don’t do anything we wouldn’t do! 🍻🇦🇺

Cheers from the team at Chooks!

🏖️ FROM THE DUNES TO THE WALLS! 🧱😂

We recently supplied some of our dune sand to a customer getting stuck into a rendering job.

Because when you want a smooth finish, you need the right sand not the stuff you find blowing across the backyard after a windy Sunday! 🌬️🤣

Our dune sand is getting put to good use, helping turn a bare wall into something that actually looks the part. 👌

From rendering to building, landscaping and everything in between we’ve got the sand to get the job done.

And don’t worry… we won’t judge how much you get on your clothes, in your boots or somehow inside the ute. 😂

Need sand? Give us a shout we’ll keep you supplied while you keep making things look good! 💪🏖️
