Australia’s amended Heavy Vehicle National Law (HVNL) commenced on August 1 this year. It is the most significant overhaul of the heavy vehicle regulatory framework in over a decade and affects every business within the Chain of Responsibility (CoR). The changes include legal obligations, penalties and important safety parameters like mass and dimension limits.

To help you stay on top of these critical changes, we have revised and updated our popular CoR Toolbox course which provides the practical information you need to understand your legal obligations, and how to meet them.

Online and on demand, this course has been designed especially for busy freight professionals and can be completed when and where it suits you.

It was a pleasure for Josephine and Joe Meli, Directors and Owners of My Freight Career, to attend the inaugural 2026 Australia & New Zealand Shipping & Logistics Conference in Sydney.

A big congratulations to Paul and Caroline Zalai, co-founders of the Freight & Trade Alliance (FTA), and everyone involved in putting together such a successful event.

It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with freight professionals, share ideas and catch up with so many familiar faces including clients, colleagues, friends and past MFC trainees.

After more than 25 years helping people launch their careers in freight and grow as logistics professionals, coming together at events like this is always very rewarding. It gives us a chance to see how far we've come, glimpse what's next, and inspire us to support the next generation of industry professionals.

Thank you again to Paul and Caroline for a great event, and congratulations on a very successful inaugural conference!
