It was a pleasure for Josephine and Joe Meli, Directors and Owners of My Freight Career, to attend the inaugural 2026 Australia & New Zealand Shipping & Logistics Conference in Sydney.

A big congratulations to Paul and Caroline Zalai, co-founders of the Freight & Trade Alliance (FTA), and everyone involved in putting together such a successful event.

It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with freight professionals, share ideas and catch up with so many familiar faces including clients, colleagues, friends and past MFC trainees.

After more than 25 years helping people launch their careers in freight and grow as logistics professionals, coming together at events like this is always very rewarding. It gives us a chance to see how far we've come, glimpse what's next, and inspire us to support the next generation of industry professionals.

Today is the United Nations World Youth Skills Day. Under the theme "Skills for a shared future", this year's World Youth Skills Day spotlights the urgent need for innovative youth skills programmes that empower young people.

Life doesn't pause while you are completing a traineeship—it keeps moving, bringing exciting new opportunities and unforgettable milestones.

One of our trainees, Elijah, is about to begin an incredible new journey into parenthood, and we couldn't be happier for him and his growing family.
