We are ETA Transit, a delivery company that started in January 2023 who is subcontracted under two Harvey Norman stores; Fortitude Valley and Burleigh Waters.
We pick up and deliver TV's, fridges, washers, dryers and much more from these stores. We are looking for a driver and two offsiders to join our reliable and dedicated team to help between November-January for the Christmas/Holiday period. Although this position will be temporary initially, there is potential to stay onboard for the new store we'll be contracted with early next year. The two roles include:
DRIVER
- No MR license required, only full Open license
- Truck driving experience preferred
- Full availability from 6:00am Monday-Saturday
- Transport to and from work
OFFSIDERS
- Experience preferred but not necessary
- Willingness to learn proper lifting techniques
- Full availability from 6:00am Monday-Saturday
- Transport to and from work
The most important thing to consider for these positions is the physical side, there will be constant lifting of heavy items every day as well as use of the trollies and stairs. All training is provided within the first week and there will be a 4 week probationary period.
