We have moved to Tuban or South Kuta to be close to the airport. The hotel is lovely but the some of clientele tend towards “bogan”, as is the surrounding area.
Sadly a lot of the beach has washed away and has rubbish. An excavator is digging the sand to rebuild the beach.
But there is plenty of opportunity to chill by the pool and read.

East Bali has loads to see and is a total contrast to the south. It reminds me of the Bali of old.
