Hallmarc Aviation is proud to support Microflite Aviation’s investment in two Tecnam Aircraft P2012 STOL aircraft for its Par Avion tourism operations in Tasmania.

This milestone will bring the number of P2012 aircraft in Australia to seven and further demonstrates the aircraft’s growing role in Australian regional and remote operations. Purpose-built for short runways and demanding environments, the P2012 STOL is ideally suited to connecting passengers with Tasmania’s spectacular Southwest wilderness.

As Tecnam’s Australian representative, Hallmarc Aviation is pleased to have facilitated this acquisition and looks forward to supporting Microflite Group and Par Avion as the new aircraft enter service.

The Tecnam P2012 STOL has arrived in Queensland, marking the completion of an extraordinary delivery flight from Capua, Italy, to Queensland, Australia.

Horizon Airways' first P2012 STOL, departed Tecnam headquarters in Capua Italy (just outside Naples) and travelled more than 14,000 nautical miles (approximately 25,900 kilometres) arriving in Brisbane Queensland Australia last weekend, showcasing the impressive range and reliability of the P2012.

The journey was completed in a total flying time of 100 hours and 40 minutes, with the longest leg spanning over 4,300 kilometres from Kona, Hawaii, to Pago Pago, American Samoa.

This achievement demonstrates the versatility, endurance and capability of the Tecnam P2012 STOL.
