Hi I'm Steve. I'm a former stonemason experienced in transporting large slabs of stone with care. I was frustrated with the lack of care and service with current removalist in Melbourne so I decided to start Harris Home Movers. Our company wanted to provide a service that not only was affordable, but also a reliable business. My beautiful wife Alana and my little girl help run our trusted family business day to day and I'm out on the road making sure your personal items are delivered with professionalism and upmost care.
Based in the Western Suburbs of Melbourne, and cover our local areas such as Sunbury, Werribee, Hoppers Crossing, Caroline Springs and many more. Our main focus is giving the customer great service, great value for money, and delivering on time. This makes the customer happy and in turn helps our business grow, through word of mouth and referrals.
My background: I’m an experienced furniture removalits, having worked in the industry for several years now. Previously I worked for my family’s stone masonry business, where we would often be transporting large slabs of stone, operating cranes and lifting stone carvings on a daily basis. Having worked with such heavy items daily; A lot of safety and care was taken to insure no damage was done. Like our approach in stone business, I also take this approach with Harris Home Movers, insuring such care is taken with all furniture and belongings.
