There have been growing concerns in some communities about increasing incidents of youth-related violence, theft, and property damage. These situations are alarming and can leave people feeling unsafe and frustrated.

At the same time, it’s important to remember that the majority of young people are not involved in criminal behaviour and are working hard to build positive futures.

Instead of generalising or blaming a whole generation, we need to focus on understanding the root causes, such as lack of support, mental health struggles, and social pressures and work together on real solutions.

Safer communities are built through awareness, education, responsibility, and support systems that help guide young people in the right direction.

Change comes from addressing problems, not dividing people.
