This week, our Youth Officer was out nice and early to celebrate National Walk Safely to School Day! We visited 4 of our fantastic local schools in the mornings to hang out with students, chat with parents, and hand out some awesome tattoos, wristbands, and keychains.

We also discussed some important things to do when walking to school including:

🦓 Use the Zebra Crossings – Always cross at the designated safe spots!

🤝 Hold Hands – Keep a trusted adult’s hand when crossing the street.

👀 Look Both Ways – Check left, right, and left again for cars before stepping off the curb or on to the crossing.

🏃‍♂️ Stay Active – Walking or riding to school is a great way to stay healthy and energized for the day, as long as you remain safe and responsible.

A massive thank you to all the schools, parents, and students who stopped by to say hello. It was wonderful seeing so many smiling faces prioritizing road safety and healthy habits!
