A long-standing local businesses with a strong future ahead, we were so thrilled to welcome T&FS Woods as a Dinner Plate Sponsor for this year's festival.
For 60 years this family owned freight and transport business has been servicing the region, and beyond - initially in earthmoving, and for the past 30 years in the cotton and grain industries.
Fourth generation in the business, Luke Woods, works with his father Allan and mother Julie, and is excited to lead the next chapter of the family legacy.
"There are plenty of local families who we've been working with for three generations, and I'm proud to continue this relationship with so many of our next-gen farmers - it's exciting to see so much youth and enthusiasm in the district, particularly off the back of the good seasons we've been enjoying."
The good seasons have also afforded the Woods family an opportunity to give back, and Luke said they always capitalise on better years by contributing to community.
"We're always happy to help out when we can. Moree on a Plate is such a good day out, and there's a lot of effort that goes into delivering this event so hopefully we can make a difference by supporting it with sponsorship."
With a growing business servicing the east coast of Australia from Emerald to Melbourne, another potential good season on the cards, and now new baby daughter Mia, it's been a great year for Luke and T&FS Woods - and we're so, so grateful that you chose to share some of this prosperity with Moree on a Plate - this thoughtful contribution is what community spirit is all about.
