🍻 schooner review in Hal’s hometown 😍 the Paragon is definitely one of our favourites - still has heaps of character but has been renovated nicely 👌🏽 historical photos on the wall and great people watching from the front verandah 🤣 the food is DELISH and the rooms are also great value for money! Check it out 🤟🏽

🍻 can’t beat Cooyal pub! 😍 one of Hal’s highest scoring schooners yet! 🍻 Just 20mins outta Mudgee - if you haven’t already been it’s a MUST! 👍🏽 old school charm and character- you can’t beat it! 🍻

🍻 Royal Hotel - Spring Ridge 🍻 what a bloody beauty!! 😍 Your typical country pub - reminded us of Windeyer a lot ❤️‍🔥 great yarns, hilarious locals, indoor and outdoor fires burning ❤️‍🔥 the publican was so welcoming and lovely, and free camping out the back! Was awesome to meet another female publican 😜 Pup friendly & absolutely delicious meals 🥩 you MUST add this to your list 🚐

🍻 Bendemeer Pub schooner review- what a BEATY!!! 😍 you can tell this old girl is so loved and well kept, the grounds and building itself are incredible! 🌞 right on the river - would be the best spot for live music on a Sunday arvy - or imagine doing a mini festival here! 😍❤️‍🔥 highly recommend! The only down side was that they don’t allow dogs so the pups had to stay in the Troop for this one 🥲

🍻 travelled through Glen Innes & Guyra heading to the Bolt Inn, Uralla for a lunchtime schooner! 🍻 sad we missed some of the beautiful pubs of Glenn Innes but it was too early 🥲🥲 We cannot recommend the Bolt Inn enough! Beautiful and thoughtfully renovated, you can feel the love, the vibe was great and the beers icy cold 👍🏽

🍻 Exploring the pubs of Port Macquarie 👍🏽 they were both nice, but not really our vibe… The Royal had big syndicate pub vibes - there wasn’t much love there, no history on the walls, 90% of the building had been converted into office spaces and an apartment block built on top… 🥲 The Port Macquarie hotel (about 50m down the road from the Royal) definitely had more of your ‘local’ vibe, but seemed more like an RSL club than a ‘pub’ 🍻
