On Saturday, 10 October, our team joined around 1,300 travel industry professionals at the Palladium at Crown Melbourne for a night recognising the people and businesses making a difference across Australian travel.

We were proud to be finalists in two categories:
🏆 Most Outstanding Employee Engagement and Recruitment Program
🏆 Most Outstanding New Talent

While we didn’t take home a win this time, we’re incredibly proud to have been recognised among the finalists. Both nominations mean a lot to our team and reflect the people, passion and commitment behind what we do every day.

Last month, Kylie from Helloworld Travel Browns Plains had the chance to experience Europe from a different perspective with AmaWaterways.

Sailing along the Danube aboard AmaSofia, her journey took her through some beautiful corners of Hungary, Slovakia, Austria and Germany, with opportunities to step ashore and explore places including Budapest, Bratislava, Melk, Vienna, Linz and Passau.

Ever wondered what it’s actually like inside an AmaWaterways river cruise ship? 👀🚢

We’ve got you!

Last month, Kylie from our Helloworld Travel Browns Plains store stepped aboard the beautiful AmaSofia, sailing through Europe on the Melodies of the Danube.

And luckily for us, she took plenty of photos. 📸

Launched in March 2026, AmaSofia combines contemporary design with the relaxed, welcoming feel of river cruising. Think warm interiors, stylish spaces, beautiful dining venues and, of course, a sundeck made for watching the scenery of the Danube drift by.
