*Transport of cake to venue becomes your responsibility once it has been collected from my place of business. Transportation instructions will be given upon collection.

🎂✨ From elegant to playful — a little cake magic for every celebration! ✨🎂

🦋 A special 80th birthday cake featuring dusty rose florals, golden butterflies and delicate touches of gold — elegant, timeless and made to celebrate a wonderful milestone.

🌈 And for little Elija and Cameron’s first birthday, it was all about colour, fun and childhood favourites! Sesame Street-inspired cakes bursting with bright colours.
Then to finish off, some bright and cheerful orange and yellow cupcakes. ❤️💛💚💙

All very different celebrations, each with their own personality, and all made with love. 💕

Two milestone celebrations, two very different looks left the Wish Upon A Cake kitchen this weekend.

A gorgeous 50th birthday in rich teal, shimmering gold and plenty of sparkle, finished with gold macarons, metallic details and a gorgeous handcrafted sugar sail.

And a sophisticated 60th birthday with ch*****ne at the centre of the celebration 🥂✨ Complete with a ch*****ne bottle, cascading gold spheres, edible image details and another handcrafted sugar sail to create that fun “pop, fizz, spray!” effect.

A delicious mix of celebrations, colour, sprinkles and plenty of buttercream!

Every cake has its own little story, and I’ve loved creating these beauties for some very special celebrations. 🧁✨

Pretty in pink and blue, with Princess Rosalina taking centre stage, surrounded by shooting stars, flowers, mushrooms and a little Super Mario garden scene. 🌸🍄✨

So many little edible details went into this one, and I especially loved creating the sweet little garden around the base. 💕🌿

A very special Winnie the Pooh celebration cake, filled with all the little details — Pooh, Tigger, bees, honey, daisies, a picket fence and plenty of lush green grass. 🌼🐝🍯

I absolutely loved making this one! There’s something about a cake covered in tiny details that makes it extra special. 💕

Sometimes you just have to say YES! 💜

This birthday cake came together at the last minute for a brand-new customer who found herself needing a cake when her original arrangements fell through.

So, of course, I jumped in! 🦸‍♀️😂

A fishing-themed birthday cake for Paul, complete with his little boat, fishing rod, plenty of ocean waves… and one rather large shark lurking beneath the surface! 🦈🎣🌊

I absolutely love how this one came together — especially considering the very short turnaround!

And can I just say… I really want to know the full story behind this last-minute cake rescue! 😂 But that’s one of those customer stories I’ll probably never get to hear!

A little look at what’s been keeping me busy lately… 💙🎂Wish Upon A Cake

From a superhero adventure for Hunter’s 6th birthday 🕷️ to an elegant corporate celebration for Canberra Hand Therapy, complete with matching cupcakes made using my new gluten-free vanilla recipe… and I have to say, they’re absolutely delicious! 🤤

I love that no two weeks are ever the same! Whether it’s creating a child’s dream cake or designing something sophisticated for a business celebration, every order is made with the same care and attention to detail.
