Routeburn Track, Otago, New Zealand
It was definitely the best day in NZ
Fog all morning, then the skies cleared, and it was magnificent
Did it in a day, but I would have loved to stay in the cabins as they looked great.

Day #2

Went to Wānaka and had an amazing Mexican dinner, went and saw the famous Wanaka Tree that looked dead and damaged, went for a nice walk along the shore line and stayed at the wyndham resort, which was great. We stopped at the
Cardrona Distillery and , which were both great.

And off I went to NZ
Went to see my little sister and do some hikes around
We started with a little 5km that was super rewarding.

walking trail was amazing on Sunday, it was so clear due to the rain last week. Hiked up the normal trail to the very top then along the Ridge to the caves, and then found some more caves. It was such an amazing walk, highly recommended it, go off the trail and explore 😀 Sandyhollow

Lake glenbawn could of been a wonderful weekend if it wasn't for all the feral.
The facilities were always left a mess, people dumping rubbish very where, at night they were going to the toilet down on the beaches (knowing kids would be playing there in the morning). Quiet time is meant to be 10pm but still partying hard at 3am, In the family area next to the play ground. It could be such a beautiful spot, they really need to patrol it better. I would recommend not going on long weekends, and getting in early to section off an area.

Had an amazing time at the
The park is getting a full on makeover and was still amazing, I can't wait to go back when the weather is warmer and the renos are completed.
Facilities were clean, it had a great camp kitchen. We caught 3 flathead metres from the park with soft plastics.
They were offering free go-karts, kayaks, paddle board, because the jumping pillow was destroyed in the floods.
The off dog area was much bigger than most, and the play ground was great for all ages.
*Highly recommended this park.
