Community Notice – Tank 7 Mountain Bike Park Update

The Seven Gravel Bike Race is taking place in Nannup this Saturday, 16 May.

As part of the event:
• Tank 7 MTB Park will be closed on Saturday, 16 May
• Brockman Highway will also be closed for race operations on Saturday, 16 May.

In the days leading up to the event:
• Event organisers will be frequently accessing the public access roads on the Tank 7 trailhead which forms part of the racecourse.
• A fan zone will also be established at the Tank 7 lookout.

Rider Advisory
To ensure safety and minimise disruption, mountain bikers are encouraged to:
• Avoid the Tank 7 trailhead area and trails in the lead-up to the race including Tank to Tank.
• Riders are advised to access the Emu Trailhead and utilise the trails on the eastern side of the network including trails out of the Tank 8, The Local, Blackwood and Brockman trailheads.

Hello all, school holidays are coming up fast. I will be running most days, so just check out our website or get in touch with me and will sort you out.
Also as the fuel prices have sky rocketed, I’ve had to put up prices.

Hello everyone, unfortunately The Goose Bus won’t be out at Tank7 this weekend, but luckily for everybody WA Adventure Shuttles will be running both Saturday and Sunday 9-12.

Hello all. Just a heads up that I won’t be running shuttles at Nannup this coming weekend.
If anyone want shuttles this weekend WA Adventure Shuttles will operate Saturday and Sunday 9-4.

But if anyone wants a to ride on Friday, I’ll be out at Tank7 MTB Park from 9-12. 👌👍🏻🤙🏻

Don’t forget that there will be shuttles this week from Friday 16th to Monday 19th Jan. Nannup tank7 MTB Park. Tank 8 trailheads.

Due to some local road closures this weekend, there will be no shuttles out at tank7 MTB Park on Saturday 1st November.

Shuttles will resume Sunday 2nd November starting at 9am.

🚴‍♀️ COMMUNITY NOTICE – ROAD CLOSURES 🚧
Saturday, 1 November 2025

The Tour of Margaret River cycling event will be passing through Nannup this Saturday.

To ensure the safety of riders, spectators, and residents, several road closures and traffic changes will be in place.

🛑 Road Closures & Traffic Advice
Please avoid the following roads during the times listed below, or consider using alternative back roads:
• Balingup–Nannup Road: Closed from 7:15am to 10:20am
• Grange Road: Closed from 8:45am to 10:25am
• Brockman Highway: Closed from 8:45am to 11:30am

🚗 Local Traffic Adjustments
• Forrest Street: Left turn permitted with assistance from traffic controllers.
• Hitchcock Drive: Closed to general traffic. Controlled access for Moonlight Ridge residents only.
• Brockman Highway Access: Vehicles may only turn left toward Nannup Town Centre under marshal guidance.
• All vehicles must remain on the southern side of Brockman Highway.
• Access will be temporarily paused to allow cyclists to pass safely. Marshals will assist between race intervals.

Please be patient and courteous to marshals and other road users. Traffic Marshals and Controllers will be onsite to manage vehicle movements and ensure safety.

• Stage 2: Road Race – 91km (Sat, Nov 2 – Balingup–Nannup–Greenbushes, starts 8am)
• Stage 3: Grand Pursuit – 64.4km (Sun, Nov 3 – Margaret River Choc Factory, starts 7:30am)
