🐱🚴‍♂️🐔 What are the chances?!

Over the past few months we've welcomed Catman, Human Revo, and most recently Chicken Man (Taboo) onboard the Original Tea Gardens Ferry.

All three are young Japanese adventurers cycling their way around Australia, each with an incredible story to tell.

Taboo's journey is particularly impressive — a 14,000km solo ride around Australia, travelling the entire coastline with just one bike, one blue belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and a passion for meeting people along the way.

We feel incredibly lucky to have played a small part in their adventures. Meeting travellers like these is one of the things we love most about life on the ferry.

🎉⚓ NINETY YEARS YOUNG AND STILL MAKING WAVES! ⚓🎉

What better way to celebrate a milestone birthday than with a private cruise aboard the beautiful MV Tea Gardens? 💙

Recently, we had the absolute pleasure of helping Al celebrate his 90th birthday with a very special charter cruise surrounded by family and friends.

From the stunning waters of the Myall River to the beautiful scenery of Port Stephens Bay, it was a day filled with laughter, stories, great company and plenty of special memories. 🥳🎂⚓

Of course, no celebration is complete without great food, and the delicious vegetarian platters from Mema's Bakery Café were a huge hit with everyone onboard! 🥗🥐💙

A milestone birthday deserves a milestone celebration, and we're so grateful to have been part of Al's special day.

Happy 90th Birthday, Al! We hope your day was every bit as memorable as you are.

🚨 FRIENDLY TIMETABLE REMINDER 🚨

Just a reminder that our new winter timetable begins today ⚓💙

As part of our winter schedule, we are now operating Tuesday through to Sunday, with Mondays becoming our regular day off during winter.

⏰ Please note that our first departure from Nelson Bay has changed from 8:00am to 8:30am.

📅 The only exception is during the July School Holidays, when we'll be back on the water 7 days a week.

Whether you're heading across for lunch, a day of exploring, or simply a relaxing ferry ride, we're looking forward to welcoming you onboard.
