We've certainly covered some distance since leaving Tasmania, with time spent exploring the Sapphire Coast NSW, Eurobodalla - South Coast NSW, Central Coast NSW, The Mid North Coast NSW New South Wales to the North Coast NSW, over the Queensland boarder through Gold Coast Qld as far as Noosaville.
My favourite places so far? I'm really having so much trouble deciding! The South Coast contains lots of hidden gems with opportunities for varied water sports. A little place just outside of Batemans Bay called Mossy Point houses The Boat Shed, Mossy Point. Here they offer a variety of kayak tours. There is an awesome beach nearby at Tomakin, New South Wales, Australia that is a great spot for families, and offers more wonderful snorkeling opportunities!
Bendalong, New South Wales is another favourite. Another sheltered spot for snorkeling and swimming with the stingrays! And of course, you can't go past the beauty of Jervis Bay!
A little further north there is Lake Macquarie with sheltered waters for swimming, snorkeling, supping, and more, with surfing beaches close by as well.
Then you have Newcastle, New South Wales just up the road, then a little further, Port Stephens with so many beaches and nature walks! Then you've got the Coffs Coast, Ballina, New South Wales, Lennox Head and ByronBay, then Kingscliff. Over the boarder we went to Queensland, through the Gold Coast, Brisbane, The Sunshine Coast, finishing up in Noosaville, Queensland, Australia.
We certainly haven't travelled in a straight line but have retraced our steps numerous times. What. A. Trip!
What's next?
Right now, we are back in NSW spending time with family and friends. Then we will head north for the winter. Picking up where we left off, we will head to the Fraser Coast Qld, and beyond.
