Thinking of all those in our community in the West Pilbara affected by the Cyclone

If there’s anything at all we can do to help please call 0427 228 262 anytime of day and we will get onto it straight away

🚁 From KTA to LEA, boarding now.

Some of our most experienced crew members from Karratha SES are now en route to the North West Cape to assist Exmouth State Emergency Service and other services in the area.

They're one of many teams from across the country who are flying in to help the Exmouth community after 🌀 TC Narelle got a bit too close for comfort.

We're sure plenty of you have seen some of the footage that's emerged from the area over the last 24 hours so you'll know there's lots to be done.

We'll miss these guys while they're away but they're going to do what they do best. 💪

Stay safe, orange fam. 🧡

Fortescue Flllyyiinn First Aid Friday

Living and working and the bush First aid is something we all must know and wish we never have to use. Given we are the airborne part of most teams we work with, the chance of our team being first on the scene of a serious incident or accident is pretty high, thats why we mandate all our pilots attend a senior first aid course once a year to keep our skills fresh, just in case we need them one day

Here’s some photographic evidence of our adaptable senior pilot Pete who looks like he in a bit of peril. Being the ever photogenic bloke he is he really appreciated having his photo taken during our 2025 team meeting and safety course.

Is his best work as man or mannequin….hard to say.

Thanks for taking one for the team Pete!

Fortescue Fllllyyyyyiiinnnn Friyay
(half a day late).

They say if you work in a job you love, you’ll never feel like you’re going to work, and we all love nothing more than seeing a day’s work of mustering all go to plan.

We understand that our clients hire us to muster cattle, not to fly helicopters. That’s why we prioritise deploying pilots for this work who are, first and foremost, skilled cattlemen and women.

They understand this principle and collaborate closely with our clients to ensure efficient and effective cattle management on their properties.

Our commitment to this pledge includes ensuring all mustering pilots have the best training and safety qualifications in the industry.

Here’s our Chief Pilot Jack Poplawski guiding a mob of cattle to cross the Nullagine River for one of our valued clients a couple years ago.

To get your cattle in with less stress along the way call us today on 0484 530 682 or 0427 228 262

# Fortescue Flyyyiiinnn Friday

Fun fact; did you know our CEO and head of check and training is not very smart but can lift heavy things?

…..Wait I hear you say, we’ve known this for years….

But seriously we can do a great job of putting your heavy things in the right place. In fact Fortescue Helicopters are the most experienced helicopter lifting company in regional WA with specialist precision aerial lifting pilots.

Here’s a video of us out recently placing these large steel posts onto their foundations in very inaccessible locations for one of our valued clients.

We put them in place and held them whilst they were secured to form part of an important rock barrier to protect a significant site close to mining operations.

Thanks to our skills and experience this team were able to get this job done ahead of time and well below budget.

Call us any time on 0484 530 682 to enquire on how we can help you with your next remote construction project

Fortescue Flyyyiiinnn Friday’s

Here at Fortescue Helicopters as all you cool dudes and dudett’s that follow us would know……we aren’t the best at consistently keeping up appearances on bookface, instagram or many of the other social channels that are now part of our everyday lives.

One of our admin ladies did a great job last year on the meet the team series but I reckon if i ask them for another interview they might run away.

So here we are I’m going to try and keep up with some new additions to the social platforms to end each week on a high with Fortescue Flyyyiiinnn Fridays.

If any of our cool followers have an idea of some content, they’d like to see please hit us with a PM.

Keep an eye out each Friday for an update of what we are up to
