V/Line Planned Service Change - Gippsland
Service changes on the Traralgon and Bairnsdale lines
Gippsland line
Level crossing removal works are taking place in Dandenong on the Pakenham Line as well V/Line maintenance works. During this time, coaches replace trains for all or part of the journey from Friday night 20 March to last service Monday 23 March.
Friday 20 March – night only
From Southern Cross Station:
From 8pm to last service – coaches will replace trains from Southern Cross to Traralgon.
From Traralgon:
From 7pm to last service – coaches will replace trains from Traralgon to Southern Cross.
From Bairnsdale:
The 6.10 pm Bairnsdale service to Southern Cross will terminate at Traralgon. Coaches will run from Traralgon to Southern Cross.
Saturday 21 March to Sunday 22 March
Coaches replace all trains between Southern Cross and Traralgon from first to last service.

Monday 23 March
From Southern Cross
From first service to 7pm – Coaches replace trains from Southern Cross to East Pakenham. Trains will run from East Pakenham to Traralgon and Bairnsdale
After 7 pm – Coaches replace trains from Southern Cross to Traralgon.
From Traralgon
From first service to 7.30pm – Trains will run from Traralgon to East Pakenham. Coaches replace trains from East Pakenham to Southern Cross.
After 7.30pm – Coaches replace trains from Traralgon to Southern Cross.
From Bairnsdale:
The 6.10 pm Bairnsdale service to Southern Cross will terminate at Traralgon. Coaches will run from Traralgon to Southern Cross.
Coaches will not stop at Flinders Street, Richmond, Clayton or Berwick stations.
Please allow an additional 60 minutes’ travel time for your journey.

General Information
There is limited space for bikes on V/Line trains and coach replacement services.
No pets or hot food allowed on replacement coaches.
Customers require a valid myki or paper ticket to travel on all V/Line replacement coach services. Please touch on and touch off your myki to ensure you pay the correct fare.
The Southern Cross Station coach terminal located on Spencer Street, opposite Little Bourke Street.
Coaches will not stop at Clayton Station. Customers should take a Metro service to and from Dandenong.
Coaches will not stop at Richmond Station. Customers should take a Metro service to and from Southern Cross Station or Caulfield.
