A strong result at Berths 11 & 12.

Recently, the DTMT Logistics team safely discharged 54 items from the ship’s hook, including:
• 5 oversized float loads
• 9 oversized trailers
• 3 in-gauge trailers

Following this, the cargo was successfully delivered to the KCGM project in Kalgoorlie.

A well-coordinated job from start to finish, led by Jake Tyler alongside Brett Davis, John Millington, Divan Joubert and Erwin Heryanto, delivering safely and efficiently throughout.

Client feedback was 5 stars across the board.
💬 "Always great, DTMT understand our business, JT and Team look after us well."

Now this is a week we can get on board with 🚛

Truck Week 2026 is here, recognising the people and businesses keeping Australia moving every day.

At DTMT Logistics, transport is more than getting freight from A to B. It’s early starts, careful planning, oversized movements, port operations, problem-solving and teamwork behind the scenes to keep projects moving safely and efficiently.

From the drivers and operators to the crews coordinating every load, this week’s for the people who make the industry what it is.

Here’s to the trucking and logistics industry and everyone out there getting the job done.

Around the clock and across the country! ☀️🌌

After delivering a rail tamper into Victoria, our team stopped via Adelaide on the way back to pick up return freight for delivery to Gruyere Gold Mine, WA.

Another successful delivery across state borders, all made possible by our drivers and operations team who ensure every move is carried out with precision.

Supply chains don’t get much attention when they’re working.

But when they stop, everything else does too.

As the role of supply chains becomes more visible globally, so does the importance of getting it right, especially in remote regions of WA, where distance, conditions and timelines leave no room for error.

This Supply Chain Day, we recognise the people, systems and coordination behind the scenes. The work that keeps everything moving.

Across Australia, we take a moment to pause and reflect on the service and sacrifice that has shaped the country we operate in today.

While most people were off over Easter, our team was on the road getting it done. 🤝

We completed an inter depot move, transporting a John Holland rail tamper from Welshpool, WA to Melbourne, VIC.

→ 5 days on the road
→ Different curfews in each state
→ Extra long weekend traffic

Every state runs differently and our team knows how to handle it.

We’ve got the experience moving heavy haulage from west to east, working through permits, curfews and different state requirements to keep the job running exactly as planned.

The end result? A smooth delivery, happy client and receiver.

Credit to the team who made it happen over the break!

Safe delivery is built on hundreds of small decisions made right.

✔️ Every job mapped out before mobilisation.
✔️ Our operators making the call when something isn’t right.
✔️ Constant updates between drivers and the planning team.

A big thank you to our drivers and operations team who keep things moving safely, even when the rest of the country slows down.

If you’re on the road this long weekend, keep an eye out for trucks and give them the space they need.

Stay safe and happy Easter!

11,000 people. 400 trucks. One big day for the industry!

We took two of our trucks down to Western Australia’s premier trucking event, the WA Mack Muster and Truck Show, over the weekend and spent the day on the ground with the community.

You could feel the pride across the entire event. It’s a reminder of the scale of the industry, but more importantly, the people behind it.

Thanks to everyone who stopped by and had a chat with the team.

Oversize moves don’t fail on the road. They fail in planning.

Rules around load dimensions, axle weights, route approvals and permits are tightening across WA’s key freight corridors.

Flexibility that once existed is no longer there and moves that were previously waved through are now stopped and reviewed.

Most delays we see don’t come from breakdowns or drivers. They come from:
→ late permit applications
→ incorrect route assumptions
→ loads designed without transport input
→ approvals that don’t match site reality

Good logistics starts early. It means understanding the regulations and planning the move well before mobilisation.

That’s how projects stay on schedule and how problems never make it to site.

Oversized, fragile and complex. There was no room for error on this interstate move.

We recently successfully transported three 18-metre PTU units from Wangara, WA to Darwin, NT.

Key factors the team managed:
1️⃣ Tight load and unload locations with minimal room to manoeuvre
2️⃣ Fragile units requiring careful handling throughout the journey
3️⃣ Multiple state permits across jurisdictions

The move was completed using three 100-tonne extendable floats, with DTMT’s experienced operators loading the units where there was little margin for error.

Despite scope changes and pressure along the way, the team stayed focused and delivered the job safely. The professionalism shown made us proud of the team we have at DTMT Logistics.

Great work by all involved!
