One of the brands we’re proud to support is now officially live.

Ember Republic is a new Perth brand founded by Rob Grant and JP Visee, combining South African braai heritage with premium fire-cooking rubs made for Australian BBQ lovers.

Their first release is the Big Five Collection: five rubs developed specifically for beef, lamb, pork, chicken and seafood.

We spent a lot of time getting the Big Five right. The same care needs to carry through to how each order is picked, checked and prepared for dispatch.

Building Ember Republic is not only about what goes into the pouch. It is about every step that follows.

Christmas will be here before we know it, and Australia Post has released its recommended last lodgement dates for 2026.

For parcels travelling to or from Western Australia, the key dates are:

📦 Parcel Post and StarTrack Express
Monday 14 December

⚡ Express Post
Tuesday 22 December

These are the dates parcels need to be lodged with the carrier. Businesses should set their customer order cut-off at least one business day earlier to allow time for orders to be received, picked, packed and prepared for collection.

For larger promotions or higher order volumes, we recommend allowing even more time.

These dates are recommendations rather than guaranteed delivery deadlines. Additional time should also be allowed for regional and remote destinations.

If you are planning a Christmas promotion, work backwards from the relevant lodgement date and make sure your advertised customer cut-off includes enough time for fulfilment.

The earlier customers place their orders, the better.

Fulfilment was never meant to be X3D’s core business.

Before partnering with Quickpack, three members of the X3D team were managing warehouse operations alongside their other responsibilities.

As the business evolved, fulfilment began taking up more space and pulling the team’s attention away from the bigger picture.

What happens behind the scenes before a busy sales period?

Preparing for an increase in orders starts well before the promotion goes live.

At Quickpack, peak planning can include:
• Reviewing forecast volumes and the products likely to sell
• Receiving promotional stock early
• Making sure pick locations are stocked and ready
• Confirming bundles, inserts and packing requirements
• Checking how promotional orders will flow into the warehouse
• Planning staffing, equipment and dispatch capacity
• Agreeing how exceptions or stock shortages will be managed

The aim is to resolve as many questions as possible before order volumes increase.

That preparation helps our team maintain accuracy and keep orders moving when the warehouse becomes busier.

Need more warehouse space in Perth?

Sometimes you don’t need a bigger warehouse permanently - you just need some breathing room.

It might be excess inventory, a bulk shipment arriving, seasonal stock, or simply that your business has grown faster than your available space.

We’ve recently had additional pallet storage capacity become available at our Kenwick warehouse, so we’re opening this up to businesses that need flexible pallet storage without necessarily moving their entire operation.

To make the move a little easier, new clients bringing in 10+ pallets will receive their first month of pallet storage free.
