Some people enjoy a challenge. Shanon is one of them.

He may only be a few months into his role as a Service Technician at Barons but he’s already busy getting stuck into the work and learning the ropes.

Hailing from the sales side of the beer industry, his favourite part of the job so far is the constant learning about what it takes to dispense a well-made beer perfectly.

After a solid day on the tools, his go-to beer is a tough choice between Guinness and Beerfarm IPL.

Nothing beats the energy of a festival, but behind every great pour is a system working hard under pressure.

We had a blast heading down south to Aravina Estate for the South West Beer Fest. Our team was on the ground early to ensure the taps were flowing perfectly for the legends at Bailey Brewing Co., Eagle Bay Brewing Co., and CBCo.

From the first drop to the final sunset set, It was a day of indulgence and great times.

Cheers to a massive weekend of pouring perfection! 🍻

A new career after 30 years takes a bit of courage.

James joined Barons a couple of months ago as a Service Technician after spending three decades as a mortgage broker. The early mornings were a change of pace at first, but he has settled in well.

What stood out straight away was the team culture. James says the camaraderie makes it feel like he has been here for years already.

His beer of choice? Swan Draught.

Meet Mitchell 🍻🇳🇿

Mitchell has been part of the Barons team for the past six months as a Service Technician, bringing a strong work ethic and a great attitude to every job. Originally from across the ditch in New Zealand, he’s already making his mark helping the team keep systems running and drinks pouring perfectly.

When he is not on the tools, you will probably find him enjoying a Waikato Draught. A true Kiwi classic.
