Last month Brian Hack and Damian Sabinasz headed down to the International Forwarders & Customs Brokers Association of Australia (IFCBAA) conference in Hobart (13–17 May), joining industry professionals from across Australia for a week of insightful discussions, collaboration and sharing the latest trends shaping our industry. 🛬

It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with peers, strengthen relationships, and bring back valuable knowledge to the team.

At EES Shipping, supporting mental health initiatives is something we genuinely care about - which is why we’re proud to be taking part in The Push-Up Challenge again this year starting today. 💪

Brian, Shaun, Glenn, Sarah, Damian, Britta, Gus, Cole, Lorin and Jesse are each taking on 3,307 push-ups throughout June - a powerful tribute to the 3,307 lives lost to su***de in 2024.

With over $50 million raised to date, this initiative continues to make a real impact and every donation helps.

⛳ EES Golf Day ⛳

Last Thursday, 21 May, we had the pleasure of hosting our annual ‘Masters of Disasters’ Golf Day at the stunning Collier Park Golf Course - once again delivered under blue skies and what we like to call EES-organised sunshine 😉

With the exceptional organisation of Jesse Chang, EES' own Operations Manager, the day ran seamlessly from start to finish. It was fantastic to see everyone bring great energy, competitive spirit, and plenty of laughs to the course.

A special shout out goes to PureOzone for taking out the best team honours, while Tyrone from ANT also deserves recognition for an equally impressive achievement - making it through the day without throwing a golf club. Those who know Tyrone will understand just how significant that is!

While we missed a few familiar faces this year, we’re already looking ahead to the next hit out. Until then, keep those swings sharp and the clubs ready. 🏌

Most importantly, thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the day such a success. Events like these are a great reminder of the importance of stepping away from the day-to-day, getting outdoors, connecting with others, and prioritising mental health - because that’s what truly matters most.
