We travelled up the Dampier peninsula and stayed at Cygnet Bay pearl farm.
We all did a pearl harvest tour where we saw a live harvest of a cultured pearl. Adaline got to pop the pearl out from the oyster and we also tried pearl meat, a rare seafood delicacy!
Cygnet bay was nice to stay at, slow down and unwind!

Laura’s parents flew in to surprise the girls and we had the best week spending time together after not seeing them for 6+ months.
We strolled around the shops looking for pearls, ate out at the cafes and restaurants, explored the beaches and had sunset at cable beach.
Good times!

We enjoyed Karratha and Dampier much more than we thought!
We watched the old movie Red Dog (Laura may have cried 😭) and loved to see familiar landscapes in the movie and knowing we were in the same area!
Dampier was so pretty and we packed up a bbq dinner and cooked it by the water while the sun set- made us think that we should do this more often.
We also had the chance to be reunited with our travel families and celebrated Nic’s birthday! Good times ✌️
