Port Adelaide Artist Forum is proud to share PAAF member John Whitney’s latest joint exhibition, PIPES, alongside James Parker at Signal Point Experience Centre, Goolwa Wharf.
Exploring the hidden networks that sustain our everyday lives, from water pipelines and hydro systems to fire hydrants. The exhibition reflects on South Australia’s fragile connection with water, infrastructure, and the environment. Through striking imagery and thoughtful storytelling, PIPES invites audiences to look closer at the engineering systems we so often take for granted.
📍 Signal Point Experience Centre, Goolwa Wharf
📅 2 May – 28 June 2026
Congratulations to John and James on this beautiful exhibition.

The Port Adelaide Artist Forum wishes to sincerely thank the Semaphore Workers Club for generously hosting our Launch Party.
We are incredibly grateful for your support, kindness, and community spirit in providing such a welcoming space for artists, creatives, musicians, and locals to come together, connect, and celebrate. The atmosphere was warm, vivacious, and full of genuine community energy. Exactly what the arts in Port Adelaide are all about.
A very special thank you also goes to the wonderful bar staff volunteers, Deb and Sally, who gave their time and looked after everyone throughout the afternoon.
Stay tuned for further updates of exhibitions and events to come!

What a beautiful afternoon we shared yesterday at the PAAF Launch Party 💚 at the Semaphore Workers Club
A huge thank you to everyone who came along, supported the event, performed, volunteered, and helped create such a warm, welcoming community atmosphere.
A special thank you to Seangie- Angie Starr, Sean and George for bringing incredible music and energy to the day, and to Angie for being such a wonderful MC.
One of the most meaningful moments was honouring Bob and Kalyna, the original founders of PAAF, whose dedication to grassroots community arts in Port Adelaide for 25 years has created opportunities, friendships, exhibitions, and lasting memories for so many people. We sincerely thank them for everything they’ve given to the community and wish them all the very best as they carry on with SpinFX AustrAliA
As PAAF moves forward, we hope to continue the same spirit of inclusiveness, creativity, and community connection they built so beautifully over the years. It was also exciting to share a glimpse into PAAF’s future, with a vibrant 2026 program full of exhibitions, music, creativity, and community events still to come. Be sure to check out the attached program guide.
Thank you as well to Mayfair Bakery and Patisserie for the fabulous pies and pasties, My Sugar Daddy for the delicious baklava, and everyone who brought homemade treats to share.
A huge thank you to all the incredible volunteers who helped make the day possible behind the scenes. Most importantly, thank you to our community. Your support, enthusiasm, and connection are what keep community art alive and thriving in Port Adelaide.
