Behold the Swash Plate: the key to soaring through the skies with precision and control!

Within this mesmerizing mechanism the swash plate dances with grace, translating pilot control inputs through mechanical linkages into the symphony of rotor movements.

Did you know!?

Not all Hazard Reduction Burns are started from the ground!

As part of our preparation for the coming season, we test and perform maintenance on all of the equipment, including our aerial incendiary machine seen here.

Capable of dropping between 35-140 of these potassium permanganate filled spheres per minute, they are injected with ethylene glycol just prior to being ejected from the machine - causing a chemical reaction that ignites 20-30 seconds later!
This enables us to cover a large distance efficiently and accurately in the helicopter while initiating the reduction burn, assisting RFS crews on the ground.
Another way we will be continuing to protect Australian communities in the future!

Did you Know?
Whilst our helicopters are inspected thoroughly before and after each flight and regular maintenance, inspections, and replacements are carried out by our aircraft engineers on strict schedules, there comes a time in almost every aircrafts' life when they require heavier maintenance. Over the coming months each of our helicopters will undergo this process.

Regretfully our flights will be unavailable until it is completed, though we look forward to returning to the skies flying in the next couple of months 🚁☀️

During this time we will still be available for enquiries and gift voucher purchases!
