Airlie Airport Bus is looking for a friendly, reliable casual driver to join our local team.

📍 Route: Airlie Beach ↔ Whitsunday Coast Airport
🕒 Hours: Approx. 15–25 hours per week — flexible shifts, pick availability that suits your lifestyle

📅 Start date: Position available from late July

💰 Award Rates:
• Weekdays: $36.94/hr
• Saturdays: $51.71/hr
• Sundays: $66.49/hr
• Public Holidays: $81.26/hr

✨ Duties include:
• Safe and professional passenger transport
• Assisting customers at the airport booth
• Providing excellent customer service
• Keeping vehicles clean and presentable

✅ Requirements:
• LR licence & Driver Authorisation (DA)
• Clean driving record
• Basic computer/smartphone skills
• Local knowledge preferred

Great news from the council — the Airlie Beach Ferris Wheel will be returning to the Foreshore from May through to November 🙌

After strong community support, it’s set to light up the Foreshore again with those iconic views and a great vibe for both locals and visitors 🌴✨

After a successful trial and strong community support, the Ferris Wheel will once again light up the Foreshore, bringing those iconic views, family-friendly fun and a bit of extra buzz to Airlie Beach.

Due to severe weather and rising floodwaters, the Bruce Highway access to Whitsunday Coast Airport is currently closed.

🚫 Please do not attempt to travel to the airport at this time.

As a result of the road closure, some airlines may delay or cancel flights today. All flight operations are strictly at the airline’s discretion.
