To all our locals and visitors alike. We regret to inform you all that our trial period at Lake Proserpine has come to an end. Unfortunately, with the downturn of visitors to the camp ground and the all time low water levels, leaving very few cleats for boaties, leading to a few complaints as to the lack of accessibility for all. Either Council would need to lengthen the jetty, or we have a 1 in 100 year flood 🤔 In any case, Council has decided that until they can get grants to upgrade the facilities at the camp ground that we have to be put on hold for the time being.
We would like to express our absolute gratitude to Council for the opportunity to show case our unique, 2 person, sports/fishing boats to the people of the Whitsundays.
We are very proud of our achievements to date. We have been the pioneers in the boating industry, by importing these small, but super reliable, durable, stable, unsinkable and versatile 2 person sports/ fishing and recreation boats.
Because these boats are new to the Australian boating commercial industry, We have had to have the boats surveyed and go through their paces to prove that they comply with Australian standards. We have built an awesome website, which is always growing, and have had a very interactive page, which we are proud to say has more than 700 followers in just 6 months of operation, and a 5 star rating, thanks to you guys.
Some highlights of our short, but sweet time at the Lake have been hosting the Reeling Veterans - Fishing for Therapy, the years 8 & 9 students from the Whitsunday Christian College's school camp fishing activity, where each student got the chance at driving and learning boating skills under our complete supervision and guidance.
And of course, the massive 1mtr plus Barramundi caught not long ago on one of our boats.
And a unique feature of our boats is that they can be driven by both licensed and unlicensed people, with our manual governing system.
We would like to look at hiring them from one of the islands if anyone is in contact with the right person who might be interested?
Moving forward, we are looking for other opportunities within the Whitsunday region, as we do love this Sub tropical paradise, and we know that our boats can handle anything the Whitsunday waters and weather can throw at them. Obviously we would always put our customers safety first.
In conclusion to my post, I would like to thank all of our lovely customers who were either camping at Lake Proserpine and decided to hire one of our boats, and especially the many who went out of their way just to come and try the boats out to see what all the hype was about. We had even had people travel all the way from Townsville just to try them out. We would also like to thank the many of you , who took the time to leave us a review, all of which rated our attraction as 5 stars. Please see in phots just a few.
Thank you. ❤️
