The reality of owning a company…
People see the pumps, the trucks, the work rolling in…
and they think it’s all easy.
But the truth is…
I don’t do this because it’s easy.
I do it because I’ve got people depending on me.
I do it for my family —
so my kids have a good life,
so we can build something real.
And I do it for my team.
The boys put in huge effort every day.
Early starts, long hours, hard work, no shortcuts.
I’m proud of them.
So when something breaks…
when repairs need doing…
when gear needs fixing so everyone can work tomorrow…
I’m there.
Even when I’m exhausted.
Even when I’m hungry.
Even when all I want is to be home.
Because if the trucks don’t roll,
the jobs don’t happen.
And if the jobs don’t happen,
my team can’t earn, and my family doesn’t move forward.
Then I get home and it’s still not finished…
It’s office work. Invoices. Stressing about the next payment, wages, fuel, BAS.
That’s the part people don’t see.
This isn’t just business.
It’s responsibility.
And I’ll carry it —
for my crew and for my family. 💪❤️
