Yesterday we spent most of the day hanging out, swimming and soaking up the beauty that is Berry Springs. From the small waterfall, through the creek into the pools, it was just absolutely stunning scenery, the weather was amazing and it made for the perfect day.
Complete the evening with a trip to Mindil sunset beach market where we caught our first Darwin Sunset. It was an all round great day!!
Thanks heaps to the Allwright Mob for letting us park our van on there block for a couple of days!! ❤️❤️❤️

Set out this morning, all psyched ready for an 11km class 3 hike covering 2.5 to 3 hours or there abouts.

What ensued was a 16.85km, class 3, 4 and 5, 4 and a half hour hike in What felt like 45° heat.

Did I feel like I was about to die more than once? yes. Was it worth it? also yes. Did we go swimming in the crocodile river, no? Could we have? yes. Would I do it again? Maybe I would get the helicopter to drop me off and I will hike back. Will I be able to walk tomorrow? It is very doubtful.

The views across gorges 1 and 2 were sensational and even though it was tough, it was a great hike and a great day! Katherine gorge brought the goods.

Went for a hike today to check out Edith falls. Only a short 2.6km hike but spent about 45 minutes swimming at the top falls at about the 1km mark.

The sun and the hike was hot, the water was cool and refreshing, and the waterfall was pretty cool too.

And for those that say I never get in front of the camera, I got you all some footage of me at the base of the waterfall. Yes I was puffing, it was hard swimming against the current.

Staying at the caravan park last night on the creek, decided to go for a walk and see if we could find any of the locals.
Found 2 of them, and yes Dan was very excited to see his first wild crocodile of the trip!! 🐊
We have seen a couple that were underwater, but this is the first we have seen clearly and on land.
Safe to say I checked under the van before stepping out this morning. Lol.

Lake Argyle you were fun.
