→ 1x 26-pallet semi trailer combination
→ 43x 22-pallet semi trailer combinations
→ 22 x 12/14-pallet rigids
→ 1x 8-pallet electric rigid
→ 1x 6-pallet rigid
→ 1x 2-pallet utility

That range exists because cold chain logistics requires flexibility. A B-Double linehaul into an RDC and a rigid doing multi-drop metro delivery to food service distributors are completely different operations. Both need fit-for-purpose equipment.

By the time most of Brisbane wakes up, half our day is already done.

Archerfield runs 24 hours. Overnight, the warehouse team is preloading trailers, working the cross dock and running shuttle movements between production and distribution sites so morning deliveries land on time.

Drivers clock on before dawn. Operations is already on the phones. The freight arriving at DCs and food service warehouses across South East Queensland this morning was handled by people who started while the city slept.

More than 100 people keep that rhythm going, night after night, day after day.

"Safe work is for life" is the theme of this year's National Safe Work Month, and it lands hard in refrigerated transport.

Our drivers and warehouse team work across cold rooms, loading docks and overnight runs from Archerfield to Northern NSW. The risks that matter most build quietly over years: fatigue from night shifts, strain from repeated manual handling, and the constant swing between cold storage and Queensland heat.

At JDRT, a good shift ends with the load delivered at temperature and every person heading home in the same condition they arrived. A good career ends the same way, thirty years later.

This October, we're backing that standard across every truck and every dock.

Peak season is a bad time to be a stranger to your transport partner.

JD keeps a deliberately small client book. Long partnerships, very low turnover, and senior people who stay close to every account. By the time December arrives, we already know your products, your docks, your receivers and the weeks that hurt.

Christmas freight starts cold in September.

The chilled and frozen lines that fill December baskets are produced, stored and moved months ahead. From now until the new year, production runs lengthen, receiving windows tighten and cold chain capacity across South East Queensland gets committed a little more each week.
