Expressions of interest.
McAuley Contracting requires subcontractors with prime movers and also truck drivers for our prime movers, for our brand new semi water carts for the 2026 year. These will be long term projects.
If you can’t work unsupervised, get along with other work colleagues or don’t understand long term work opportunities, the contract game and/or don’t like working, this probably isn’t the job for you, so no need to apply.
Good hourly rates, meals, accommodation and diesel provided. Work located Charleville, Roma, Southwest Qld, Northern Qld, and Gulf of Carpentaria. Rates improve depending on isolation and distances. Shifts vary. Own caravan an advantage, as work can be very isolated, applicants are welcome to charge their van as accommodation costs.
Applicants will require:
- Commercially registered Prime mover with hydraulics, in mechanically sound and roadworthy condition.
- A positive and willing attitude with a brain inside their head.
- Water cart experience and stabiliser experience an advantage.
- The ability to mobilise at short notice.
- The ability to work unsupervised.
- The ability to work with others harmoniously.
- And most importantly, be hard working and actually wake up in the morning with a good mind frame.
