🚐 Meet the NuNu + Numi Coast Rover! 🌴🍦
NuNu has been one of my favourite places in Palm Cove for many years, so I was absolutely thrilled when co-owners Nick, Amy, Jason & Mo said they wanted to support Coast Rover, showcasing both NuNu & Numi on Rover 1.
The designs created by the NuNu team are stunning, making Rover 1 pretty hard to miss on the road — so you may have already seen it out and about!
But now, Nick and Jason are thrilled to officially reveal it.
During our early conversations, Amy told me numerous stories of customers finding themselves stranded late at night because they simply couldn’t get home. On several occasions, their own staff ended up driving customers home after work because there were no reliable transport options available.
Those conversations reinforced exactly why Coast Rover needed to exist.
It wasn’t simply about starting another transport company. It was about solving a genuine community problem for local businesses, hospitality workers, visitors and residents.
There’s already been a nice full-circle moment too — Amy and Nick’s son Harvey has used Coast Rover to head into Cairns Central for a trip to the movies. 🎬
Seeing this vehicle completed was another one of those moments where the Coast Rover vision suddenly felt very real.
Like me, they genuinely believe our region has enormous untapped potential. We already live in one of the most beautiful places in Australia — imagine what we can achieve when local businesses, residents and the wider community work together to make it even better.
That community-minded attitude is exactly why NuNu and Numi became major Coast Rover partners.
I couldn’t be prouder to have them riding with us. 💚
