Pays Aviation Scone Australia. Aerial Firefighting, Charter, Warbird Restorations and Adventure flights

Pay's are a long term provider of both fixed and rotary wing fire bombing and fire support to government agencies within Australia and overseas. We provide Australia wide on-demand passenger and freight charter for government agencies, corporate clients, VIP's, mining and the local community. We also specialise in aerial spotting and surveillance, photography, heavy lifting and can cater to any other aerial work requirements. Since 1959 Pay's have served western NSW and surrounding areas as providers of aerial application including all forms of spraying, spreading and sowing. We are one of the few providers of aerial application training in Australia and have 2 highly experienced training and testing officers on staff allowing us to conduct agricultural ratings, flight reviews, night agricultural ratings and numerous aircraft endorsements. Our fleet of aircraft are immaculately maintained by our in house maintenance facility which includes an engine overhaul shop and dedicated paint shop. We also carry an extensive amount of parts including rare british BA hardware. Pays also have an extensive collection of warbirds both active and under restoration including P51 Mustang, Supermarine Spitfire, P40 Kittyhawk, Hawker Hurricane, A37 Dragonfly, T6 Harvard, Tigermoth and Chipmonk.

🏆 Officially the best regional event in the country!

Last night, Warbirds Over Scone 2026 was named National Winner of the City of Coffs Harbour Best Regional Event at the Australian Event Awards.

For one weekend in March, Scone became the warbird capital of the Southern Hemisphere. More than 15,000 people from every corner of Australia and beyond came to a town of just 6,000, and they stayed for more than 11,000 nights across the Upper Hunter.

Thank you to the Upper Hunter community, our crews and volunteers, and everyone who made the pilgrimage to Scone that weekend.
