We are CASA approved for maintenance of Class A aircraft, an

The facility is also approved to overhaul engine components, and to this end, all starters, magnetos, alternators, and fuel system components are handled in house. This is why we do 100 hourly/annual inspections. Unfortunately, for the customer, this oil filter contains a number of small metal flakes. A bad sign for the engine, which will need to be stripped and inspected. Nonetheless, much better to find this during scheduled maintenance than suffer an engine failure airborne.
