Great work this week by the Carmar crew! This week we were rigging escalators into the atrium of Queens Wharf. By the end of next week there will be 14 escalators criss-crossing each other over 7 levels. Time to enjoy the weekend 🍻

Have a look at our latest Travelator installation performed last week at Yamanto Shopping Centre. Our client was impressed with the level of detail and planning before works had even commenced, and the guys (as usual) gave 100% to make sure the job was completed safely and efficiently. Another great job by Carmar Rigging.

After some careful planning and lots of prep work Carmar Rigging took delivery of 2 x 15 ton generators over the weekend and craned them into a level 6 plant room at 80 Ann Street. The guys made it look easy.

7 years ago Carmar Rigging was born (Carlie + Mark = Carmar).
We kicked off with an old commodore and a new trailer, bought a hand full of rigging equipment then hit the road.

We never expected to grow as fast as we did in the early days. It wasn't long before we had 2 employees (Darren is still part of the crew and has stuck with us through thick and thin)

Our first few jobs were rigging spa's into weird locations and a couple of small chiller demo jobs. Soon after that we were doing all the escalators at Indooroopilly shopping centre for KONE and starting to pick up some quality A/C swap over works. Since then we have sorted cranage and rigging for some of the largest chillers in the Southern Hemisphere and installed some of the largest Travelators and Escalators.

Today we have a fleet of 9 vehicles including a small truck and an AT20 Franna

We have worked all up and down the East coast of Australia as well as in the NT. Soon we will have our first international job under our belt.

I would like to thank all the guys who have worked for us over the years and helped keep this little ship afloat. Carlie and I couldn't do this on our own and without the guys doing their part our story would be very different.

Also thanks to our loyal clients and suppliers who have been great during the busy times but even better during the tough times. Always assisting where they could and throwing work our way just to ensure we would be there when they really needed us (you know who you are) We really appreciate you.

It has been a very busy period for our crew. Some major projects have come our way and with assistance from our key contractors all challenges have been met and all parties have come away with smiles.
Here are some pics of the Auto-walks being installed at the new Cruise Ship terminal.
As usual the job required serious planning and coordination along with complex cranage and rigging techniques.
A big thanks to our crew for working so hard to make these jobs run as smoothly as they did and also to our clients for backing us in these endeavours.
