A busy couple of days last week.
22 silos in two days for one customer.
These guys were rearranging their two sites and needed silos moved from one site to another. Credit to them for supplying great helpers at both sites to make things run smoothly.

Sometimes we get to a job and things aren’t as they should be.
This silo was found on its side, which would make it near impossible to load if it was a larger silo. Lucky this was a small silo. And we love a challenge. Lucky my brother was nearby to lend a hand. After towing the silo around to face the right way, we hooked it to the silo trailer and stood it up. Job done.

We had a couple busy days last week with two shifts from York Peninsula to Orroroo in the mid north. Plus two more shifts in the Orroroo area. The rain was heavy at times and there was also the race to get as far as possible before night fall (oversize load curfew).
But we got the job done.

Dear valued customers.

It’s all happening again.

Due to the huge increase of fuel prices, we will be adding a fuel surcharge to our jobs.
As we are only a small family run business we can’t absorb the increase.
We hope people understand that it’s out of our control.
And we thank you all for sticking with us.
Cheers

Big week for us last week. With multiple trips down to the south east and a hand full of local deliveries. All from one farm.
I trialed running a second camera for extra visibility down the side of the truck. It worked great until the camera decided to part ways with the truck at 80 kmph. So the replacement got screwed on instead of relying on a magnet.

This silo shift was made into a small family holiday.
We moved the silo from Mt Gambier to Willalooka for a valued repeat customer.
We packed up the family and spent a couple days exploring to region.
Unfortunately the weather didn’t play the game. The worst of it while we had the silo on. But we got the job done and the kids had a great time.

The last couple days we had one of those “tricky / challenging “ jobs. Two silos in a tight access location in the Adelaide Hills.
I didn’t get any pictures of the first day as there was some filming done on site but got some good ones on the second day.
Always great to have the two big bosses (Dad and Mum) come and help , with their trusty Toyota ,on the second day.
Dad tagged along for the rest of the trip and he was wrapped to be able to drive the new truck.
